Informe Corto: Evaluación de la Ruta Nacional 21, tramo entre los poblados de Jicarral y Lepanto, Península de Nicoya, Costa Rica

Abstract

La Ruta Nacional 21, específicamente el tramo comprendido entre las poblaciones de Jicarral y Lepanto, en la Península de Nicoya, ha recibido en los últimos años una inversión muy importante, a pesar del relativo poco tránsito que por dicho tramo circula. En cumplimiento de los mandatos de la Ley 8114, funcionarios de la Unidad de Gestión y Evaluación de la Red Vial Nacional del PITRA – LanammeUCR realizaron durante el mes de abril del presente año, una visita al tramo para evaluar el estado actual de la ruta, y conocer si se han atacado las recomendaciones de informes anteriores. Este informe resume algunos hallazgos importantes, mostrando imágenes de lo visto en dicha gira, y comparando con lo obtenido en informes anteriores. The National Route 21, specifically the section between the populations of Jicarral and Lepanto, in the Nicoya Peninsula, has received a great investment in the last few years, despite the relatively low traffic that flows through this section. Regarding the fulfillment of the specifications of Law 8114, the staff of the Management and Evaluation of the National Road Network Unit of PITRA – LanammeUCR, made a visit to this section to evaluate the recent state of the route, and to inspect if the recommendations of previous reports have been taken into consideration. This report summarized some important findings, showing pictures of the observations of the tour, and comparing with the obtained results of previous reports.
