La Comisión Instructora Institucional a sus diez años

Abstract

La peculiaridad en el procedimiento disciplinario implementado por la Universidad de Costa Rica para investigar y sancionar las faltas cometidas por docentes en régimen académico, tiene como punto medular el funcionamiento de la Comisión Instructora Institucional, al punto que la toma de decisiones por parte sus miembros, tiene injerencia directa en la comunidad universitaria. Por esto, a diez años de su creación es preciso analizar la importancia y trascendencia de este órgano de instrucción, todo en pro de su constante perfeccionamiento y de su necesidad en la vida universitaria. The peculiarity in the disciplinary procedures implemented by the Universidad of Costa Rica to investigate and sanction the infringements committed by tenured faculty, has the continued function of the Comisión Instructora Institucional at its core, to the extent that the decisions taken by its members directly influences the university's community. Therefore, at ten years after its birth, it is of importance to analyze the transcendence of this elemental part of instruction, in the spirit of its continued improvement and its necessity for university day-to-day life.
