Diterpenes from Fleischmannia hymenophylla and Brickellia laciniata

Abstract

The aerial parts of Fleischmannia hymenolepis gave in addition to phytol and sesamin a new derivative of beyerene named hymenophylloide. The aerial parts of Brickellia laciniata afforded several new labdane derivatives and a heliangolide. Structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods and the absolute configuration of the labdanes were determined by CD measurements.
