This exploratory research offers a simplified approach to various of the digital inkjet wet transfer techniques over non conventional surfaces of artists Bonny Pierce Lothka, Karin Schminke and Dorothy Simpson Krause researched between the years 2004 and 2011. It proposes to adapt such procedures to the technical and material possibilities of the Central American region and to facilitate its success in terms of availability of materials, simplified processes and quality of the transfered print. Techniques employed are described as a guide for interested students and vi- sual artists. Wood blocks, specially from tropical species, are used as non conventional surfaces to transfer digital photographic images into.
