B. Spinoza como defensor de los derechos humanos

Abstract

Spinoza es un defensor de las libertades de pensamiento y expresión como derechos humanos y fines de la sociedad política. Se estudia su doctrina del derecho natural y se examina la compleja relación entre libertad humana y absolutismo del Estado, nacido del contrato social y portador de una racionalidad que debe gobernar las pasiones. Se analiza la relación entre libertad de conciencia, religiones y poderes del Estado, así como el aporte, de corte y tradición humanista, de Spinoza a la democracia moderna. Spinoza is a defender of the freedom of thinking and express ion as human rights and as purposes of political society. The natural right doctrin is studied, and isexamined the complicated relation between human liberty and the absolutism of the State, born from social contract and carrier of a rationality, that must manage the passions. Is considered too the relation between freedom of conscience, religions and State's powers, likewise the contribution (inspirated in humanism and founded in humanistic culture) of Spinoza to the modern democracy.
