Ítem Execution of the “competency assessment” program implemented by the Ministry of Public Education in the Technical Education: the case of Professional Technical School in San Sebastian(2013-12-19 00:00:00) Retana Morales, JorgeThis article refers the results of the research about the program assessment by competences, implemented by the Ministry of public education in the technical education in the Professional Technical School in San Sebastian, from diagnosis the educators have on the proposal, the identification of difficulties and advantages in your application. The study is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving teachers and managers to which are performed interviews to obtain the most accurate information of the reality of the program at that school. Among the findings is demonstrated weakness in the implementation of the program, due to the lack of knowledge of basic concepts and guidelines of the competency assessment program. As advantages, is determined the evaluation approach to the world of work, which will play the student, from their specific competences, so that the importance of non-formal education management stands out to gestate processes socio-educational in that sense.Ítem Municipal Training: Management proposal non-formal education for the development of a plan for(2013-06-30 00:00:00) Vilaboa Ulloa, RosarioEncourage the improvement of individual skills and investment in training processes, professionalization and professional updating by the organization is in a bid to improve performance, administrative efficiency and better outcomes. Both public and private organizations have incorporated the administration of non-formal education (through training plans) as a strategy for improving productivity, efficiency in public attention, and the achievement of objectives and goals in a greater or lesser extent.The elaboration of training plans, although it is a requirement requested by the Contraloría General de la República (General Accounting Office) to municipalities, is not today a widespread practice. By defining the knowledges, attitudes and skills needed to carry out each of the functions defined in a management administrative tool as manual jobs, establishing training priorities and strengthening of human resources in a municipality of average development as the canton of Aserrí. This model is proposed as an alternative to the current practices existing not only in Aserrí, but in other municipal bodies where the definition of the training process is little or nothing planned. The research was carried out during the second half of 2012 and presents important results in terms of methodology and strategy needed to design a training plan.
