    Management of Educational Organizations Regarding the implementation of the National Programme of Educational Innovation Circuit 09, Regional Directorate of Education of North-San José, Costa Rica

    This article is a research developed based on the study of three schools of Moravia, San José, Costa Rica (circuit 09 of the Regional Directorate of Education of North-San Jose), in order to analyze the management of educational organizations regarding the implementation of the National Programme of Educational Innovation in selected institutions. The study was conducted under a qualitative method, using the deductive approach combined with a type of study denominated descriptive, because allows to compile the scientific information through the following objectives: -Determine the coordination mechanisms employed at the development of the National Programme of Educational Innovation, -Describe the organizational structure of the National Programme of Educational Innovation for its development in the three selected institutions; -Recognize the planning process undertaken for the development of the National Programme of Educational Innovation; -Describe the control systems employed in the management of the National Programme of Educational Innovation, and finally, -Describe the evolutional strategies implemented in the development of the National Programme of Educational Innovation. The findings we found provide the knowledge on the functioning of the National Programme of Educational Innovation since the Educational Administration, considering the creativity and innovation as essential components to address the challenges of today’s global society.

    Management of the process of evaluation of teacher performance: from the Educational Management

    This study was conducted in the educational organizations: Barrio Limoncito School and los Lirios School from the School District 02 of the Regional Educational Administration of Limon in Costa Rica, whose general objective is to analyze the managing process of teacher evaluation on these schools from the Ministry of Education. It is a study based on the descriptive approach. It is based on mixed methodological techniques: qualitative and quantitative. Within the educational organizations teachers and administrative staff are consulted, and among the main findings, it was found that the processes of the evaluation of performance are fundamental to improve the development in teacher performance in search of the quality of the education provided.  It is essential to have adequate management processes from educational organizations that strengthen these processes.

    The author gives a brief analysis about the impact on the application of the rules governing the promotion and repetition within the public Costa Ricaneducation system in the management of the Professional Technical College of Limon. This raises the importance of educational administration and their use as the means by which it allows the implementation of these policies and strategies that have been implemented in the institution to apply the rules granting access to students who have dropped out of education system and promoting these standards in force and repetition can retake them.

    Addressing student conflict in the management of Elementary School organizations

    The author addresses the student conflict management in educational organizations, particularly in Barrio Limoncito and La Colina schools, from the school circuit 02, of the Regional Bureau of Education of Limon. Research is descriptive; using qualitative and quantitative research techniques. The overall objective of the study is to analyze the approach to student conflicts as part of the  management of the schools participating  and as  specific objectives: to determine the different student conflicts that arise in the participating institutions, identify the main causes that generate student  conflict in the schools  mentioned, to determine the management strategies employed by the administrator of education to address student conflicts and identify the main obstacles that these conflicts  generate to the management of Barrio Limoncito  and La Colina schools.

    The professional counselor’s participation for managing the motivation in the educational organizations

    Changes in society and in different labor markets have generated a change in the vision of the person employed within the various existing organizations. This demonstrates the importance for the people been motivated, which generates higher quality products and services. In addition, it is relevant to mention the contribution that may provide the counselor’s labor in the consolidation of an appropriate organizational environment. Further, this encourages the collaborators to have a better performance by the strengthening of strategies that stimulate and increase the motivation of each of them.

    Main causes of dropout student and applied techniques for prevention from managing in the Night School of the Union and the National School Virtual Marco Tulio Salazar headquarters in the canton of La Union

    This present article corresponds to investigation conducted in the Night School of the Union and the National School Virtual Marco Tulio Salazar headquarters in the canton of La Union. The research is type descriptive, due the information collected on each of the defined categories of analysis and its focus is quantitative, for the search for generalities that is give in the population, with respect into dropout student, of the mode that deepens in the objective of the investigation by means of the following objectives: Identify the dropout rate by level and by gender, in the last five years, to determine the factors socio-cultural, educational, economic and family causing dropout student, describe the strategies are implemented by the administration to reduce the dropout student in the Night School of the Union and the National School Virtual Marco Tulio Salazar headquarters in the canton of La Union. The results obtained allowed the development the development of a proposal in order to address the drop out student from the educational administration.

    Analysis of strategies executed by Miramar´s High School Teachers and Staff, from the Regional Board of Education of Puntarenas, Costa Rica, to Prevent Desertion and Students Population Retention

    This article analyzes the dropout as the scourge affecting today’s society, while causing significant losses and, over time, widens social gaps as a result of dropping out of school by the student population. Thus we developed a descriptive research supported with quantitative and qualitative techniques in the Liceo de Miramar de Puntarenas, to analyze strategies dropout prevention and student retention, from the perspective of faculty and staff.The study aims to determine the factors causing dropout, the strategies employed by faculty and staff from the management of education and perception of the efficiency and effectiveness of those actions for dropout prevention and student retention in school. Also generate a commitment from the education community to work together on this phenomenon in Costa Rican education.
